Tough, assertive, and a great off-roading vehicle, the 2022 Chevy Colorado remains agile and compact enough to handle the city streets, with the convenience and comfort that you need from your daily ride. Take a look at the available trim levels to decide which Colorado model would fit best in your life.

1. WT

2022 Chevy Colorado

The WT is the base model of the Chevy Colorado, and it comes with the 2.5l four-cylinder engine as standard, with 6-speed automatic transmission and offering 200hp. The 3.6l V6 engine is also available, delivering 308 hp and coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The WT is equipped for comfort and convenience, with a 7-inch color touchscreen, a four-way power driver’s seat, and an audio system with six speakers.

2. LT

Both gas powertrains remain available on the LT model, but it is also possible to buy with the 2.8l diesel four-cylinder engine for 369lb-ft of torque and the most efficient fuel usage. The color touchscreen is upgraded to 8 inches, and the LT also comes with a six-way power driver’s seat, steering wheel-mounted controls, and a wifi hotspot. There’s also a dual rear seat with under seat storage.

The Trail Boss package is available on the LT and the Z71. This adds an extra inch of suspension lift and skid plates for a more robust drive, and black exterior trim detail with gloss black wheels for an imposing look.

3. Z71

The Z71 is a luxurious ride, with a Bose premium sound system, heated seats, and automatic climate controls. But Colorado fans who are serious about off-roading will want to take a closer look, as it also features hill descent controls, locking differentials, and all-terrain tires to help you tackle a more challenging landscape.

For a particularly durable version of this model, opt for the Midnight edition, which features Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires and all-weather floor liners.

4. ZR2

The ZR2 is designed to take on the most challenging terrain. Skid plates and rock sliders make it tough and durable, while DSSV Multimatic suspension dampers and off-road rocker protection give it added dexterity. There are also driver-selectable full-locking front and rear differentials to allow it to scramble more effectively.

The ZR2 is also available in a range of special editions. The Bison was developed in collaboration with American Expedition Vehicles for more unique off-roading features, including five boron steel skid plates and AEV bumpers. The Dusk and Midnight editions have special 17-inch accessory wheels and off-road lights.

Whether you’re looking for a practical vehicle to help you tackle the daily chores, or hoping to head out on an adventure in the great unknown, the Chevy Colorado has got you covered.
